Steven Boudreau

Dear CIHC members: We were saddened by the loss of Steven Boudreau, a member of our board of directors.

Steven was the president of the Eagle Place Community Association, and Artistic Director of Recovery Theatre. He died of cancer on Sunday, May 22nd. 2016

A strong believer in the power of the arts to enhance the lives of all citizens, Steven founded the Brantford Busker Festival, and at the time of his death was working on a new venture, The Dickens-on-the-Grand Festival. The CIHC was proud to be a partner in the creation of this event.

Steven was a tireless organizer and a savvy promoter of community interests. He supported our plans for the redevelopment of part of the Mohawk-Greenwich site, and was also keen on the idea to rehabilitate Mohawk Lake and the Canal for recreational purposes. He brought wise advice and good judgment to every project he was involved with.

We will miss Steven - his intelligence, his patience, and his good humour - very much.
