THE GOODERHAM & WORTS DISTILLERY
The Distillery District is a national Historic Site. Once The Gooderham and Worts Distillery, the site represents the largest and best preserved collection of Victorian Industrial Architecture in North America. The distillery played an important role in the growth and wealth of both the city and nation. Construction of the distillery commenced in 1831. The Distillery District, a complex of 13 acres composed of 44 buildings, is now a premier residential, shopping, restaurant and tourist destination.
